New York based Hypo Real Estate Capital Corporation (“HRECC”), a subsidiary of Hypo Real Estate Bank International, is one of the largest foreign owned commercial real estate lenders in the United States. HRECC provides a single source of capital solutions for the real estate industry including balance sheet, CMBS, and subordinate debt lending on all asset classes across the U.S.
HRECC was tracking employee information and inventory control with a combination of an MS Access system and various MS Excel spreadsheets. There was no unified framework in place to easily determine what assets were assigned to employees, what tasks needed to be completed on a change in employee or asset status or to quickly determine which assets an individual employee had. Disaster Recovery contact data was cumbersome to maintain.
SGP designed an Onboarding system which integrated into HRECC's existing REDS system. The Onboarding system focuses on the work flow from hire to separation. All tasks are auto-generated and email notifications are sent through each step of the onboarding process, from initial set-up through exit interview. The Onboarding system has an integrated Inventory module which allows the user to track all inventory from purchase order through retirement.
By using the Onboarding system, pre-hire tasks are done in a timely manner, Disaster Recovery Call files are automatically updated and easily generated, Fixed assets can be located with a click of a mouse and upon separation, HRECC can immediately indentify which assets need to be reclaimed.
